A beach for everyone

With its 8 kilometres of soft golden sand, the beach of Lignano Sabbiadoro is the ideal place to get tanned, relax, have fun and do some sport. Animation for children and adults, mini-club, modern facilities for the needs of families, sports events in the Beach Arena, concerts and theme nights, but especially a clean and safe sea also for children, thanks to the seabed which gently slopes.

The fun is not only on the beach. Lignano offers to its guests several parks open all the time: for babies and children there is Junior Park in Sabbiadoro and I Gommosi in Pineta, for the family Parco Zoo Punta Verde and Gulliverlandia are the right solution, an alternative to the beach is Aquasplash, water playground, and at night there's the Luna Park Strabilia.

The most trendy clubs, discos and parties on the beach are the best places for those who want to experience the night-life of Lignano. And between a dance and a drink there is also time for shopping in the beautiful pedestrian zone of Lignano Sabbiadoro and along the “treno” in Pineta.

You can find quiet and nature especially in Lignano Pineta, green area where is located our hotel, and in Lignano Riviera, on the mouth of the river Tagliamento. Spa, Parco del Mare (Sea Park) and Hemingway Park are ideal for moments of relaxation.

If you wish to make some excursions to artistic cities and typical villages, Lignano is a very good starting point. In less than an hour away you can reach Venice and Trieste, but we suggest also to visit Palmanova, the Roman ruins and mosaics of Aquileia, Villa Manin in Codroipo the residence of the last Doge of Venice and Udine. Those who love nature, good food and good wine, can visit Marano Lagunare and the mouth of the river Stella, or go to the gentle hills of Collio and discover the aromas of fine DOC wines and the flavours of the local cuisine.
